Description:
In the newly released report, Pivot researched methods to enhance students' engagement in maths and found relationships, not qualifications, key to better outcomes in maths. In this webinar, co-founder of Pivot and teacher, Cleo Westhorpe will delve into the findings of this latest joint research project with AAMT and AMSI - uncovering insights and discussing practical approaches for educators to enhance their students' mathematics learning experiences. Pivot's Student Survey on Teaching (SST) was used as the cornerstone for this research. The study involved surveys of 80 teachers and 2,500 students, analysing factors such as relationships, high expectations, and positive classroom environments. Cleo will relate these factors to improved learning experiences.
