We gather information solely to manage your membership of the MAV and to deliver the services that we provide you. We will not collect information that does not pertain to this. In order to serve the purpose of the Association - To empower and support our members, mathematics educators and schools to improve mathematics education for every student - and to improve the service we provide the MAV may use collected information for evaluation and research purposes.
All collected information will be protected against loss and unauthorised use or disclosure. MAV will not disclose individual information to third parties without seeking express permission first. You will always be able to request access to the information the MAV holds about you.
Our website
Whenever you visit our website our web host, or internet service provider, may record general information for evaluation and review. As with most websites, this information is likely to include:
- Your internet address - including your domain name i.e. yourschool.vic.edu.au
- When you visited the MAV website
- The pages you visited and any information and documentation you downloaded
- The website you were looking at immediately preceding your visit to the MAV site

This information is used for statistical analysis only as a means of updating and improving our website. It will not be used to identify you or your internet viewing activity.

MAV will only use your email address if you send messages in relation to your queries or bookings and purchases as we need to reply to your query. Your email address will not be disclosed to third parties without your permission and will be stored securely.

MAV recommends that you contact the office by telephone or post if you have any concerns about sending information over the internet.
This privacy policy does not relate to sites linked to from the MAV website.
