Student/Pre-Service Teacher Membership
Application for membership is open to:
- undergraduate students studying a Victorian course in order to become a mathematics teacher, or
- University students who have an interest or focus on mathematics education.
- This includes secondary mathematics teacher specialists, those studying other subjects (eg: science, or Engineering) who may become mathematics teachers, and all primary and early years’ teachers who are teachers of mathematics in Victoria.

AAMT Journals can be purchased for $36 per journal, 3 per annum:
- The Australian Australian Primary Mathematics Classroom - three editions annually
- The Australian Mathematics Education Journal - three editions annually
Membership period
Please note that our membership period is from 1st February to 31st January. Renewals for the following year are sent out in early October each year and you can renew until end January before we cease to send you membership benefits.
Pro rata discounts are available to join throughout the year and are applied as you join online.
