Supporting Aboriginal Perspectives in the Curriculum
The Victorian Department of Education provides a suite of resources to help educators embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across all learning areas, including mathematics.
These resources support schools to develop curriculum that is:
- Culturally responsive
- Respectful and inclusive
- Reflective of the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations Peoples
We encourage you to explore the Department's guidance materials, teaching resources, and professional learning opportunities to support this essential work in your school.
Together, we can ensure all students engage in learning that is accurate, respectful, and representative of the oldest continuing cultures in the world.
