2027 Build Me Up VCE Programs

Build Me Up VCE supports teachers who are new to teaching a VCE Mathematics subject, as well as teachers looking to strengthen their subject knowledge, confidence and practice.

A year-long professional learning program designed to build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to teach General Mathematics effectively.

Program Focus

  • Understand the study design: VCAA requirements, structure, key concepts and skills.
  • Strengthen classroom practice: sequencing, common misconceptions, assessment and effective pedagogy.
  • Learn with others: work alongside experienced mathematics educators and other General Mathematics teachers throughout the year.

  • 2 Q&A webinars

  • Build confidence: learn alongside experienced Specialist Mathematics educators and other teachers.
