REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: MONDAY 16th AUGUST
TARGET AUDIENCE: Year 5 - 10 teachers
ABSTRACT: When you find a successful maths lesson it is professionally interesting to ‘pull it apart to find out what makes it tick’. One successful and timely M300 lesson is known as Dice Footy (its currently Footy season) and it is primarily this lesson that will be workshopped to find its underlying ‘anatomy’ i.e those features and ingredients that can make all lessons more successful. It looks initially like a simple game but rapidly becomes a seriously productive mathematical investigation.
