Description:
Since 2006 students have been permitted to bring their Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) calculator in VCAA Specialist Mathematics Examination 2. Using the CAS calculator effectively and efficiently would certainly be a great benefit to students, particularly in the multiple-choice questions section. This workshop will explore how CAS calculators (both TI-Nspire CAS and ClassPad) can be used to solve some past multiple-choice questions from the VCAA Examination 2. The main focus will be on Vectors, Circular Functions and Complex Numbers.
