Description: Join Dr Rachel Pollitt and Sakan Pyseth for our first Webinar will explore 3 key areas of young children’s math explorations about Number Recognition, Subitising, Counting and Cardinality during play. We will unpack concepts which promote children’s math learning, and link to their contexts and lives. Although seemingly simple, teaching these concepts can be complex, so we aim to expand on strategies to extend children’s thinking about math. Please join us for an engaging and in depth discussion. Based on your insights, ideas and questions there will be scope for small group discussion and your early learning context.

Event Booking and Cancellation Policy

Participants who cancel their booking on or prior to the advertised closing date will receive a full refund less the cancellation fee of $35. All cancellations must be in writing and include any documentation already sent out. (Except in the case of illness, a 50% refund is available subject to supply of a medical certificate. The certificate and application for refund must be supplied in writing to MAV within 24 hours after the event.)

NO REFUNDS are available after the advertised closing date as costs will have been incurred and catering booked.

If events are free there is no cancellation fee.
