The 2024 VCES Games Day is a wonderful opportunity for high ability students to actively participate in a wide variety of math games that will challenge their mathematical thinking and reasoning. This day will provide students with further opportunities to amplify productive learner dispositions as they engage in team challenges, while at the same time foster curiosity and a sense of fun. Each participating school is invited to enrol up to four teams; each team comprised of 4 students. THESE EVENTS ARE ONLY OPEN TO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS.

The objective is to bring teachers, leaders, researchers, and other stakeholders together to explore innovative approaches and strategies, that support teachers and students in their mathematical education journey. The conference will focus on addressing current challenges, sharing best practices, and envisioning the future of education.

Event Booking and Cancellation Policy

Participants who cancel their booking on or prior to the advertised closing date will receive a full refund less the cancellation fee of $35. All cancellations must be in writing and include any documentation already sent out.

NO REFUNDS are available after the advertised closing date as costs will have been incurred and catering booked.

If events are free there is no cancellation fee.
