An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding educator to join our school as we develop our extraordinary students. We are seeking aDigital Technology and Mathematics Teacherwho can foster a love of learning and deliver interactive and dynamic lessons. Teaching our Digital Technology classes from Years 7-10, this role has the opportunity to continue to drive, shape and refine our offering across the Senior Campus. In addition, in teaching Mathematics, this role may include senior classes and as such, experience in VCE Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics is preferred.
Fintona teachers seek out and implement new ideas and practices to enliven our students learning journey, provide meaningful pastoral care, are integral to student wellbeing and safety, and embed themselves in the ethos and life of the School. This includes attending school wide events, excursions, and engaging in our camps (outdoor and adventure) program.

Job Requirement
The successful candidate will possess:
- VIT registration;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications;
- Current and broad knowledge of curriculum and effective pedagogy in their subject area, and which aligns with the Australian curriculum;
- Current knowledge of educational trends and schooling practices as they pertain to the role; and
- Current knowledge of learning technologies in relation to the role and the delivery of the curriculum.
