Our CEO achieves CAE
We're thrilled to share that our CEO, Jen Bowden, has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) - the global benchmark for association leadership. Jen travelled to Los Angeles for the ASAE Annual Conference, where she graduated alongside fellow candidates as the only international graduate in her cohort.
There are just 58 CAEs in Australia, making this an especially proud milestone for MAV and our community.
Sharing knowledge at AuSAE ACE
Fresh from her CAE achievement, Jen co-presented a workshop on the CAE with Jo Phillips (Compliance Victoria) at last week's AuSAE ACE Conference. The session unpacked the value of the CAE for Australian association professionals and practical steps for those considering the journey.
"Simon" - an AI assistant named for a MAV leader
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of AuSAE's AI Knowledge Assistant, "Simon" - named in honour of Simon Pryor, MAV and AuSAE Life Member. Simon served as MAV CEO, hired Jen more than 18 years ago, and was instrumental in driving technology innovation at MAV. He also became AuSAE's first President, contributing a wealth of knowledge to both AuSAE and MAV over many years.
