'The Big Ideas' to support learning intervention: Tips for tutors and teachers (Yrs F - 6)

Tuesday 23rd February 2021

This series of after school professional learning sessions are designed for teachers and those who will be supporting student learning as tutors in 2021. One big idea in number will be focused on during each session. Advice to identify difficulties and misconceptions, building student knowledge and confidence and targeted teaching tips will be shared. Each session will be consist of hands on tasks ready for you to utilise in the classroom to check for understanding.

2021 VCE Mini Conference Bendigo and Gippsland

Monday 15th February 2021

This full day VCE mini conference offers 3 streams (1) Mathematical Methods, (2) Specialist Mathematics, (3) Further Mathematics. In each case the morning session will comprise of the Meet the Assessors lecture/workshop and the afternoon session the SAC workshop. Workshop participants will receive a copy of the MAV solutions to the 2020 VCAA Exam and a copy of the 2021 MAV SACs starting points, relevant to the workshops attended. Morning tea and lunch are included.

VCE Mini Conference Virtual

Friday 12th February 2021

This full day Virtual VCE mini conference offers 3 streams (1) Mathematical Methods, (2) Specialist Mathematics, (3) Further Mathematics. In each case the morning session will comprise of the Meet the Assessors lecture/workshop and the afternoon session the SAC workshop. This Virtual Conference replaces the popular event usually held at Melbourne University, catering cost has been removed hence price reduction.
