If you’ve ever heard comments like “I’m finished. What do I do now?”, “My child is bored in maths!”, or “This work is too easy”, you’re not alone. Many teachers face the daily challenge of stretching high-achieving students while catering for the diverse needs of all students in our classrooms. Enrichment shouldn’t be providing extra worksheets or rushing students into new content, but rather, providing meaningful challenge with a focus on depth and breadth.
This webinar will explore how depth, reasoning and rich tasks can challenge advanced learners while remaining accessible to all students. We’ll look at what enrichment really means, who our high achievers are, and how open-ended, high-ceiling tasks can enable advanced learners to operate at their full potential within whole-class teaching. Instead of planning multiple lessons for different groups, we’ll focus on using one powerful lesson that supports all learners — especially those ready for greater challenge.
