Description:
Early Childhood Webinar Series
We’re excited to announce that the Early Childhood Webinar Series will continue in 2026. With a focus on mathematics in early childhood education, these sessions are designed to support your professional learning and explore how maths can be thoughtfully embedded in play-based and emergent curricula. Bringing together current research and practitioner expertise, each webinar will spotlight a key aspect of early childhood mathematics, offering practical strategies, fresh insights, and inspiring examples to help you notice, nurture, and extend mathematical thinking through everyday play.
Webinar One: Charting the Path Forward: Goal Setting for Early Childhood Mathematics
Join us for a practical and inspiring session where early childhood educators will come together to reflect on what’s working well in supporting young children’s mathematical thinking. We’ll celebrate strengths, share ideas, and talk openly about the common challenges we face in early mathematics learning. Most importantly, this workshop will guide you in setting meaningful goals for your practice. Through collaboration and discussion, you’ll have the chance to identify clear next steps, gather fresh strategies, and leave feeling motivated to strengthen both your teaching and children’s mathematical experiences.
