The Mathematical Association of Victoria are excited to hold the 62nd Annual Conference (MAV25) from Thursday 4 December – Friday 5 December 2025 at La Trobe University, Bundoora.

The theme for MAV25 Annual conference is 'Thriving in Mathematics’. This major conference will explore the dynamic areas of teaching, learning, careers, and the societal role of mathematics.

The following sub-themes that will be covered in the conference:

All registration fees include a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Member Cost:
Standard Rate $320.00

To receive a discount as a regional MAV member (DE classification - northwestern Victoria, northeastern Victoria, southeastern Victoria and southwestern Victoria) please contact the MAV office on (03) 9380 2399 before registering below.

Regional Member Cost:
Standard Rate $256.00

Non-Member Cost: $400.00

Pre-service Teacher/Student Member Cost: $180.00

Event Booking and Cancellation Policy

Participants who cancel their booking on or prior to the advertised closing date will receive a full refund less the cancellation fee of $35. All cancellations must be in writing and include any documentation already sent out. (Except in the case of illness, a 50% refund is available subject to supply of a medical certificate. The certificate and application for refund must be supplied in writing to MAV within 24 hours after the event.)

NO REFUNDS are available after the advertised closing date as costs will have been incurred and catering booked.

If events are free there is no cancellation fee.
