Description:
Join us for a practical webinar that will empower teachers with a wide range of effective strategies to check for understanding—tools that can be used in any classroom, at any year level, and across all learning areas. You’ll explore how simple yet powerful techniques can provide immediate insight into student thinking, helping you decide whether to move forward or revisit key concepts. You'll also learn how to intentionally design these checks to align with your lesson goals, making them purposeful and targeted rather than just routine. Aligned with VTLM 2.0 and the MACS Vision for Instruction, this session will help you strengthen your instructional practice and better support every learner. You’ll leave with a bank of ready-to-use strategies and the confidence to use them to enhance student engagement, gather meaningful feedback, and adapt your teaching in the moment.
