Description: The MAV Maths Active School and Maths Active Teacher Network provides an opportunity for educators to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another as they continue to strengthen mathematics teaching and learning in their schools. This interactive session will focus on the goals schools are currently working towards, providing a space for participants to share their priorities, celebrate progress, and discuss the challenges and opportunities they are encountering along the way. Central to the discussion will be the MAV Maths Active rubric and how it can be used as a practical tool to guide strategic planning, inform professional learning, and shape a shared vision for high-quality mathematics education. Through collaborative discussion and examples from participating schools, attendees will gain ideas for using the rubric to identify strengths, set meaningful improvement goals, and support sustainable whole-school growth. Whether you are just beginning your Maths Active journey or building on established practices, this network is an opportunity to learn alongside colleagues committed to continuous improvement in mathematics. Event Booking and Cancellation Policy

Participants who cancel their booking on or prior to the advertised closing date will receive a full refund less the cancellation fee of $35. All cancellations must be in writing and include any documentation already sent out. (Except in the case of illness, a 50% refund is available subject to supply of a medical certificate. The certificate and application for refund must be supplied in writing to MAV within 24 hours after the event.)

NO REFUNDS are available after the advertised closing date as costs will have been incurred and catering booked.

If events are free there is no cancellation fee.
