National Science Week

 

Mathematics, Magic and Mystery

Burkard Polster and Marty Ross are Melbourne's tag team of mathematics. They bring the fun and the funny to mathematics. They write the Maths Masters column for the Melbourne Age, and give public lectures through the auspices of the MAV.

Burkard and Marty are now coming to Mildura, to trick and puzzle you and your students. And when you're not looking they'll give you some insight into some beautiful mathematics.

Presentations are available for students from year 5 upwards; parents are most welcome. Also available are special sessions for VCE students, and PD sessions for teachers. The PD sessions would also be suitable for members of the general public.

All schools are welcome and encouraged to attend these free presentations. Sessions are open to all teachers, parents and students.
