Ian Lowe has created five Resource lists showing the best non-text resources available to teach each dimension and level of VELS.
Ian Lowe has created Differentiated Unit Plans using the best resources from the lists above. For Years 3 to 8 there is one per semester in each dimension.

VELS and New Approaches to Reporting
The VCAA and DE&Ts Office of Teaching and Learning have recently been developing (or revising) the key documents for mathematics and the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. Learn more here.
2006 VCE Examinations Support Material
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority is preparing sample examination papers and questions for the reaccredited VCE Mathematics studies 2006 to 2009. These will be available at http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/exams/examsassessreports.html. For further details please contact Kris Allen, VCE Assessment (Exams) on (03) 9651 4343.
As a service to the mathematics education, the MAV places free copies of worked solutions to these papers and questions on our website.
Mathsnacks by Marty Ross, Burkard Polster and QED the cat
A mathsnack is a haiku-size package of beautiful mathematics with accompanying illustration. The printed versions of Mathsnacks live on the back pages of Vinculum, the quarterly magazine for teachers published by the Mathematical Association of Victoria. Mathsnacks are now also being added to the MAV website.
VCE Revision lectures
Notes from our 2004 series of VCE Revision lectures, by the presenter, Michael Swanborough (requires Microsoft Powerpoint).
VCAA Mathematical Methods Computer Algebra System Pilot Study.
A rich range of CAS pedagogical curriculum and assessment materials that can be accessed from the CAS pilot section of the VCAA website: www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/studies/mathematics/cas/study.html
Investigations in Point Symmetry.
MAV hosts a collection of pages on Investigations in Point Symmetry, and also has available for purchase sets of support materials. The investigations are designed for Plastazote Point Symmetry Sets which contain the shapes on the Investigation Cards. Plastazote is a strong, foam-like substance that feels great. The shapes are yellow on top and blue beneath. One set serves 20 - 30 students.
